Having Trouble Finding Your Color?
If you came from this page and you ran into a snag, let me help you sort things out!
Your US City is Not Listed
This list is not comprehensive–the locations are weather stations, so it is likely that your city or town is not listed specifically. If you live in the US, please revisit the list and find the closest location to you, sharing similar weather conditions. Identify the colors, and then complete the form below.
Your Spring Color is NONE
If your spring color is listed as “none” that means that you have a very short growing season that starts later than any of my color groups, and ends sooner. You would need to employ methods to extend your growing season (greenhouse, row covers, cold frames, etc). If you have the ability and resources to do so, my planting schedule should work, you will just need to customize it. You can purchase my Planting By Color e-book, which comes with a customizable schedule just for you!
Your Fall Color is NONE
If you have a spring color, but your fall color is listed as “none” that means that your growing season too short to plant again for the fall. Don’t worry about it–just enjoy gardening in the spring and summer!
Your Spring or Fall Color is MORE INFO
If your spring or fall color is listed as “more info” it means we need to do a little more research to find out if you fit into a color group, or if you need a custom planting schedule.
