My Gardening Christmas Wish List
I have been dreaming of a green Christmas–one where I can go outside and harvest lettuce and spinach. This gift would make that dream come true! I’m pretty sure it would fit right over several of my garden beds. The reviews are good, it might even hold up to the wind.

If that didn’t work out, I’ve also considered buying or building a cold frame. This allows you to extend your harvest in the fall and spring–I might even be able to keep some things growing all winter. The weather here is cold, but there’s often a lot of sunshine.
So if either of these things showed up on Christmas morning, I would definitely need these boots! That way I can just slip on a pair to traipse through the snow. My gardens are on the south side, so the snow melts pretty quickly. But it’s sure to be soggy!
Women’s Western Cowboy Boot
I’ve made do with a little chopper, but all my salsa making leaves me hoping for a really great tool for the job.
Okay, so this book isn’t about vegetable gardening, but I read it in my book club and LOVED IT! I thought I had a copy, but after organizing all my books, it’s nowhere to be found.
This is such a classic–The Secret Garden. I loved reading this book as a girl. And this movie combo comes with The Little Princess. We watched this as a family recently and I was reminded how wonderful it is.
A Little Princess / The Secret Garden
So this may not seem like a gardening gift, but it really is. See, when your hands are covered in dirt and you need to grab something from the house, or when you’re canning salsa and need to open the garage door but don’t want flies coming in, here is the answer!
Bug Off Instant Screen
Check out this adorable ring made by my friend Demi. So cute, huh? She’s got tons of cute stuff at her Etsy store.
So there are a few things I’d love for Christmas. Do you have any Christmas gardening wishes?
Hope you get everything on your wish list!
