Everything is growing! I am very excited.
 The other fun news is that I bought lights to help my new seedlings grow:

2 shop lights ($8 each) = $16
1 pack (2 bulbs) cool florescent bulbs = $8
1 pack (2 bulbs) warm florescent bulbs = $8
TOTAL = $32

In the garden:
I got ambitious with prepping my gardens this week.  I supplemented my compost-filled beds with some peat moss and vermiculite and filled in the remaining space with fresh compost.  Pulled some weeds out of the garden and my surrounding paver stones.
Planning to start some garlic outdoors this week.  Timing on garlic is weird [...]
