Step 6: Purchase Supplies

Before heading to the store, sit down and take inventory of what you need, what you have, and what you will buy.

I get lots of questions about where to buy items–and I shop everywhere! I like local nurseries, big box stores (Wal-Mart and Home Depot), Amazon, and catalogs. Each has it’s advantages–big box stores generally have the lowest prices, but catalogs and nurseries will have more variety and specialized items. Finally, you can buy about anything on Amazon!
